2024 Backyard Fests (West Rogers Park & Humboldt Park Studios!)

We are so excited to bring back Humboldt Park Backyard Fest for a 3rd year AND introduce West Rogers Park Backyard Fest for the first time!

Join us at either (or both!) locations for a day of outdoor family fun and entertainment!

Both Backyard Fests will feature live performances, a collaborative mural, art project, yard games, 100 Days of Challenge Trophy Pickup and MORE!

$5 Suggested Donation to attend – This event is open to the public!


West Rogers Park Backyard Fest - 5/11/2024

Date: Saturday, May 11th, 2024

Time: 12:00-4:00pm 

Location: Street Closure on Richmond Street at Devon Ave (2925 W. Devon Ave)

Performance Schedule: 

12:00 PM:  Family Concert with Jan

1:00 PM: Live Magician!

2:00 PM: Stone and Edgebrook Violin Ensembles

3:00 PM: Studio Ensemble Showcase (Featuring Student Rock Ensembles, Orchestra, Piano Ensemble, Dance Company, and Music House Vocal Ensemble)

Solo Recitals will follow Backyard Fest inside on stage at 4:30 PM, 5:30 PM, and 6:30PM

Humboldt Park Backyard Fest - 5/18/2024

Date: Saturday, May 18th, 2024

Time: 1:00-4:00 PM 

Location: Music House Humboldt Park Studio Side Yard (1018 N California Ave)

Performance Schedule: 

  • 1:00 PM: Family Concert with Jan

  • 2:00 PM: Suzuki Playdowns featuring Violin, Ukulele, and Guitar Outreach and Private Lesson Students

  • 3:15 PM: Dance Company

  • 3:30 PM: Musical Theater Performances

  • Plus Live Magician performing throughout the day!

Join us across the street at ChiArts for the Studio Ensemble Showcase at 6:15pm!
