Suzuki Playdown Performance Troupe
Who? Private lesson violin Suzuki students, books 1-3, who are reviewing Suzuki Pieces
When? This class takes place weekly on Saturdays at both studios:
West Rogers Park: Saturdays, 2:00-3:00pm
Humboldt Park: Saturdays, 9:45-10:45am

Who? String students who are working on note-reading (have completed “I Can Read Music, Vol 1”), and are in Suzuki Book 2 or beyond!
When? This class takes place weekly at the Humboldt Park Studio. There are 2 session options:

Humboldt Park Studio: Fridays 6:00-7:00pm

Dance Department
Dance Company:
The mission of Music House Dance Company (MHDC) is to provide dancers a community in which they can grow their artistry as performers. Students will be provided with additional performance and learning opportunities. Dancers must be enrolled in an additional technique class in order to join dance company. Talk to your teacher about joining and become a part of the ensemble!

Beginning Hip Hop for 4-6 year olds with Ms. Alexa on Sundays 1:00-1:45 at our Humboldt Park location
Ballet/Tap for 5-7 year olds with Ms. Alexa on Sundays 2:00-2:55 at our Humboldt Park location

Musical Theater Department

Fables, Fairy Tales, and Folk Tales (Ages 4-5): Students will learn and practice the art of performance, story-telling, and character development using Aesop Fables, Fairy Tales, and Folk Tales to spark imagination. How does the sneaky fox walk? How does the nervous owl fly? What makes the witch angry?
Peter Pan (Ages 5-9): Music House brings the classic tale of Peter Pan, the lost kids, Captain Hook, Wendy, John, and Michael to life in a BRAND NEW version! Written specifically for Music House students, this musical will be an updated version of a favorite story with new music and an exciting script.
Xanadu JR (Ages 9+): Xanadu JR follows the journey of a magical and beautiful Greek muse, Kira, who descends from the heavens of Mount Olympus to Venice Beach, California in 1980 on a quest to inspire a struggling artist, Sonny, to achieve the greatest artistic creation of all time – the first ROLLER DISCO! (Hey, it's 1980!) But, when Kira falls into forbidden love with the mortal Sonny, her jealous sisters take advantage of the situation, and chaos abounds.
Advanced Teen Musical Theater Ensemble (Ages 13-18): Music House is pleased to announce a new class just for teens, Advanced Teen Musical Theater Ensemble! And, you are invited to audition! The class has been developed for students ages 13 to 18 that would like to enhance their current theatrical experience with like minded peers. You will work with our Theater Production Team to further develop your skills in acting, dance and musical theater voice. We will facilitate an inclusive environment that fosters the building of strong ensemble values, joy in performance, growth mindsets, confidence to take risks, and the preparation necessary to perform an advanced show.
