Music House Day Off of School Performing Arts Camps. What Can I Expect?

About Performing Arts Day Off Camp

The goal of Performing Arts Day Off Camp is to have fun while inspiring young artists to create and enjoy their day off!

Campers will spend the day switching between instrumental music, dance, theater, and visual art classes with breaks to socialize in between. Campers will have a place to voice their creative visions and ideas in an encouraging, safe, and inspirational camp environment.

  • 9:00am-4:00pm

  • Kids ages 4-11

    • campers will be split into groups based on enrollment

  • Options for:

    • Early Drop Off at 8am

    • Late Pickup at 5pm

  • In Person at both Music House locations:

    • Humboldt Park, 1018 N. California Ave.

    • West Rogers Park, 2925 W. Devon Ave.

Typical Day at Camp:

8:00am: Early drop off begins! Campers enjoy quiet morning activities such as reading, coloring, or playing with other campers.

9:00am: Camp day begins! All campers will gather to play warm up games and discuss camp rules.

9:30am: Art Class! Get creative with your hands and explore the world of visual arts

10:30am: Snack break

11:00am: Dance Class! Move and groove with you fellow campers

12:00pm: Lunch and recess

1:00pm: Theater Class! Step into the spotlight

2:00pm: Snack break

2:30pm: Rock Band Class! Shred the guitar or keep beat on the drums

3:45pm: Reflect on an awesome day and get ready to go home. Make plans to attend another day off performing arts camp in the future!
