Rock, Jazz, and Piano Ensemble Workshops this July!
We are hosting 1-Day FREE Workshops for Studio Ensembles this July at our West Rogers Park Studio! Try out rock, piano, or jazz ensemble (or all 3!) this summer, and see if you’d like to join the full ensemble class in the fall!
Why join an ensemble?
Group learning is not only more fun for students, but also can be much more motivating than individual lessons alone. Just like learning a language, music is better learned when immersed in a community of other music-makers!
July 16, 2023: Rock Ensemble
Channel your inner rockstar at our Rock Ensemble Workshop! In this one-hour workshop, students will work together in a small group to learn a rock song, and get a true rock band experience.
Location: West Rogers Park Studio
Date: Sunday, July 16th
Time: 2:00-3:00pm
Open to all voice, guitar, drums, bass, and piano students! Must have had some prior instruction on instrument to join.
July 23, 2023: Piano Ensemble
Come to our Piano Ensemble Workshop to learn how to play in a group with other piano students, and how to develop independence when playing on your own part! Students will rehearse a piano duet or trio in this one-hour workshop.

Open to piano students who have begun note reading!
July 30, 2023: Jazz Ensemble
In our Jazz Ensemble Workshop, students will learn a jazz standard, and even try out some improvising!

Open to all private lesson students who have had at least 2 years of instruction on instrument!
