Olivia Evans

Olivia Evans (she/her) graduated from the Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training Program in May 2023, and currently teaches dance with Music House. Throughout her time as a student and her transition into being a full-time dance educator, she has developed a teaching practice rooted in both unique creative expression and strong technique. She works to create safe and playful spaces where her students can support each other in investigating their unique and shared curiosities. She has previously taught with Alonzo King LINES Ballet and SF Arts Education Project, delivering classes to hundreds of K-12 students across San Francisco. Over the past several years, she has simultaneously developed a career as an independent choreographer, with work commissioned and/or presented by Ballet 22, San Francisco Dance Film Festival, LINES Training Program, ZK Gallery, Mark Foehringer Dance Project SF, and MPower Dance Project. In her limited free time, she enjoys exploring new places, collecting trinkets, and solving jigsaw puzzles. She is excited to learn, explore, and grow alongside the students she works with through Music House!
