NEW: Advanced Piano Ensemble - 7 week session!

Join our Advanced Piano Ensemble this April/May and learn how to collaborate on multiple parts with other pianists!

Students will work on pop/contemporary arrangements, including Bruno Mars’ Uptown Funk and Katy Perry’s Firework, which will be featured in a multi-disciplinary May performance featuring the Advanced Piano Ensemble, Rock Band, Orchestra, and Music House Vocal Ensemble!

Who is eligible to enroll: Students in Piano Adventures (Faber) Book 3A or above (or equivalent level from other method books) - talk to your private lesson teacher if you’re unsure if you’re ready for this ensemble!

Class Details:

  • Date: Wednesdays

  • Time: 6:30-7:30pm

  • Location: Humboldt Park Studio

  • Ages: 10+

  • Pricing: $105 with a $30 Performance Fee (covers extra rehearsals and performance-related expenses for the two end of session performances)

  • Registration Fee: $25 for new students

  • Start Date: 4/3/24

  • End Date: 5/15/24

Performance Details:

Saturday, May 11, 2024: Music House West Rogers Park Street Fest - 2:30-4pm

Saturday, May 18, 2024: ChiArts Studio Ensemble Showcase - 6-7:30pm

There will be extra rehearsals for these performances on Friday, May 10th and Friday, May 17th at West Rogers Park Studio, 6-8:30pm.
