What is Open Mic Night?
Open mic night is an opportunity for students to practice performing in a pressure-free environment, meet other students their age, and celebrate creativity!
What should I play/sing/perform?
Anything you want to share! Try out a piece you’re preparing for an upcoming spring recital or something you’ve composed/choreographed yourself. If you are singing and require accompaniment, please bring your backing track on a device.
Who is invited to attend, and do I have to perform?
Any music, dance, or theater students ages 10-18! Students are welcome to watch or perform, and can bring non-Music House friends! All students attending must register for the event, whether or not they are performing, so we know how many students to expect!
Can parents attend?
We’d like to give students a place to perform and mingle with their peers, so parents are not invited to attend this event, unless it is a necessity for the student.
